After getting his MBA from the University of Portland, Corey set his sights on the ecommerce market and started working for a small Amazon reseller. 36 months after starting, Corey was at the helm of the 6th fastest growing Amazon seller on the US marketplace. It was with those skills, strategies, and insights that the idea of Run AMZ was born. Instead of creating private label products, Corey used his knowledge to help national brands leverage Amazon as a marketing tool, and as a place to connect with consumers, all while protecting retail pricing & generating sales growth. The Run AMZ model was built for brands in an ever changing Amazon world, and Corey is committed to just that.
VP of Client Service
Chris came to Run AMZ after a decade of leadership experience working with major consumer products brands in the sporting goods industry. Chris’s experience is varied and extensive, having also demonstrated leadership of national sales teams and implemented marketing strategy for a large multi-brand conglomerate. Having overseen sales of more than $1B in consumer products, Chris understands the pinch points of our clients in the evolving world of retail. As our Director of Client Service, Chris assures that each of our brands has a tailored Amazon strategy that matches their global sales and marketing goals.
VP of Client Engagement
Mac comes to Run AMZ with 20 yrs of sales and marketing experience with a focus in the Outdoor Sports and Pet Specialty verticals. Most recently, Mac was VP of Strategic Markets at Brandlive, a Portland based company that offers a Live Video experience to engage brands and consumers with enhanced messaging. Prior to Brandlive, Mac held Director level roles at premium consumer product brands in the Sporting Goods Industry. Mac holds a BBA in Business Administration from Faulkner University and enjoys spending time on the family farm with his wife and two daughters.
Sam is an experienced artist with a strong focus on the technical processes that lead to powerful work. He cut his teeth doing in-house branding and guiding the aesthetics of companies in a variety of industries. His experience teaching digital design has given him the ability to be an effective translator between those who are design-minded, and those who are not. By leveraging his background in content marketing, Sam has unique insight into customer experience and how to use design to help guide purchase decisions. When he is not focused on his work, you would most likely find him talking about the newest mural in town.
Senior Client Success Manager
Brandon began his career running a grassroots marketing program for Apple Inc. before moving to Amazon as a Vendor Manager where he doubled his category revenue annually during his time there. He then moved to a ~$1BN manufacturer where he launched the Digital Strategy department, which oversaw B2C sales, all online marketing and eCommerce sales as well as Amazon Basics products. Using this experience both inside and outside Amazon, Brandon helps our clients navigate the Manufacturer-Amazon relationship. In his free time, Brandon enjoys scuba diving and Ironman training.
Abigail traveled the around the world competing with the Canadian National Volleyball Team in the FISU games. At Run AMZ she manages a team of Account Coordinators and specialists to ensure that each of our clients receives the best possible onboarding experience. The leadership, competitive drive and attention to detail she developed through sport has made her an excellent fit as our Client Success Manager.
Amazon Account Specialist
John joined with a background in commercial real estate valuation and computer software sales. Most recently he spent the last couple years as a sales rep for two startups in Portland. His previous experience in real estate and customer service, along with his high attention to detail and organizational skills has made John an excellent fit for our onboarding team. When he isn’t in the office you can find John at concerts, exploring the outdoors, and traveling.
Logistics & Supply Chain Analyst
Isaac’s main focus at Run AMZ is helping to find ways to improve client sales and decrease costs. He completed his Bachelor’s degree at Portland State University where he studied lean practices, and 6-Sigma strategies in the School of Business. His background is in Information Systems and Supply Chain Logistics. As an Eagle Scout and nature enthusiast much of his free time outside of work is spent camping or hiking across Oregon.
Junior Production Designer
Gabe’s top priority at Run AMZ is making sure clients’ catalogs are reflective of the brand message they wish to communicate with their customers. He is a graduate of Oregon State University with a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design. When he isn’t working on our clients’ content and design on Amazon, he is busy developing his own musical career.
Kerri has worked as a high school teacher, an administrative assistant at a local university, and a marketing assistant at a large company where she honed her organizational skills. Kerri has a true love of organizational structures which help to create more efficient and productive work environments making her perfect for our Office Manager position.
Haleema works with Run AMZ as their Marketing Manager. After launching a magazine and kickstarting a non-profit, she took her expertise in marketing to Portland where she worked within financial services to implement long-term marketing strategies. She is always looking for ways to improve the small business and non-profit sector.
Paul has 15 years experience in ecommerce, digital marketing and technical consulting services. He’s started multiple successful services businesses. Paul serves Run AMZ as a senior advisor and as our Chairman of The Board.
Dan has 14 years of experience as a CPA, as well as the head financial manager of multiple large organizations. He also has managed all business internal operations including IT, HR, Facilities, etc. He serves Run AMZ as an advisor and board member.
Jon has 20 years of experience in management consulting. He specializes in process optimization, team dynamics, business intelligence, and solving technical problems. He serves as an advisor to Run AMZ and Board Member.
